Fax Service

Use this page to send out faxes to physicians and facilites. You can also input fax numbers from recipients who are not currently in the system with ease.

From the My Cases page, use the Case Management menu and select Fax Service.

 

Use the fields at the top of the page or the filters to find the case(s) that you need.

 

Once you have found the case(s) required, select them with the checkbox on the left. You can choose to do a quick review of the report(s) by selecting the PDF icon on the very right.

 

Now you will have two choices of how to proceed: Email or Fax

 

First, let’s go over the Email option.

1. Select the “Submit Batch of Reports to Remote Print.” A pop up window will display.

2. Use the checkboxes to select which contacts you would like to email the report to.

If a contact does not have an email entered into the system, it will not be available for selection.

3. Select the “Remote Print” button to email the report.

 

You will then receive a success message confirming the case number, email address, and physician/facility. You can now close out of the pop up window if you have no other actions to perform.

 

The second option is sending a Fax. As with the email, you will have to check off all the cases you want to fax in order to select them.

 

1. Select the “Submit Batch of Reports to Fax” button. A pop up window will display.

2. Use the checkboxes to select which contacts you would like to fax the report to.

If a contact does not have a fax number entered into the system, see step 2.1 below.

3. Select the “Fax Selected Reports” button, and the fax will be sent.

 

You will then receive a message letting you know whether the message to send the fax was successful or not. To check on the status of all faxes, please go to the Fax Log page for details.

 

2.1: The person/facility you are trying to reach does not have a fax number in the system.

If this is the case, you can manually enter in the name and fax number of the person you are trying to contact. Then select the “All Follow Cases Fax” button (seen in the green box here) to send the fax message.

 

You will then receive a message letting you know whether the message to send the fax was successful or not. Again, to check on the status of all faxes, please go to the Fax Log page for details.
